Dr Sam Kirchner

Sam is a specialist anaesthetist who joined Stace Anaesthetics in 2025.   He completed medical school at the University of Adelaide and undertook anaesthetic training in South Australia. He completed fellowships in both Head & Neck Anaesthesia and Regional Anaesthesia at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in 2024. 

Prior to undertaking training in anaesthesia, Sam worked and trained in neonatal, paediatric and adult intensive care units across Adelaide and Melbourne and in paediatric retrieval for the Paediatric Infant Perinatal Emergency Retrieval (PIPER) service in Victoria.   

Sam works as a Staff Specialist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and is experienced working with both children and adults across the full spectrum of surgical and anaesthetic services. He prides himself on providing evidenced-based and patient-centred care.
